Round Table School

Round Table is an organisation of non-political and non-sectarian young men between the age group of 18 and 40. Its aim is to promote service, fellowship and goodwill in National and International affairs.

In its effort to educate the millions of underprivileged children in India, Round Table India(RTI) has initiated the Freedom Through Education project. RTI aims to impart primary education to 1 million children by 2010, through funding by individuals or associations interested in leading the fight against illiteracy.

All administrative expenses of Round Table India are borne by its members. Every contribution in total goes into the Service projects of RTI.

Bangalore Metropolitan Round Table-44 (BMRT-44) has translated Round Table India's commitment to provide a better future for the children reality by establishing, administering, managing and funding the first ever Round Table School. Built by BMRT 44 in 1986, The Round table school provides free Education & free mid-day meals on every working day to nearly 700 children. The annual outlay for the school is Rs. 8 Lakhs. The School is not aided and Tablers raise the funds through charity programs.

Feed-a-child

BMRT44’s unique mid-day meal program of providing each child with a nutritious meal on every working day of the school. Each day’s meal is sponsored by a donor. You can pick any day of your choice – Remembrance Day, an Anniversary, a Birthday, etc.

At each meal, the sponsor’s name is read out along with his/her message and the children thank him/her for the kindness shown, in a touching little ceremony

Educate-a-child

Help us in giving children a better life through quality education! Contribute to the Round Table school and help kids less fortunate than you and make a difference in their lives.

The Round Table school provides completely free education to more than 600 students of Roopena Agrahara village near Bangalore, India.

A donor sponsors each child’s education. You can sponsor one or more children. Each child is informed about their sponsor and you are always welcome to visit the child, follow-up on their grades, task them to work harder, etc.

Rs. 10,000/- for 1 year.

Donor Wall

You may please to contribute towards the children and impact the overall functioning of the school. The amount that you donate will go to the Trust account of the school and overall improvement of the Corpus which will positively impact the school in a long term. Based on your contribution, your name will be displayed on the Donor wall in the school.

Rs. 50,000/- for 1 year.

Adopt a Class-room

We would like to work with Corporates and individuals to Adopt-a-classroom for an academic year. You will be supporting approximately 50 needy students in their pursuit to knowledge, education & freedom (Support will include school fees and Mid-day Meals). We will mention the sponsor's details outside the classroom for the year along with a sponsorship plaque and memento for the contribution.

Rs. 100,000/- for 1 year.

Appeal

We appeal to you as a socially conscious individual/corporate to assist us financially and we look forward to your continued support. Your donation will form part of the Corpus Fund dedicated to the cause. The Corpus Fund will be invested in high yielding schemes of the Government and / or Public Financial Institution and / or Public Corporations. Should you desire, you may depute any executive to visit our school without reference to us on any working day. Alternately, we shall be happy to organise a visit, by such executive, to the school
